Are you packed yet?  I pretty much am!  Some things to remember:

sunscreen & hats
hammer & chisels
field notebook & pencils
camera & GPS
scale for pictures
hand lens
bug spray
fossil packing materials
oh, and food and clothes!

I just looked at the weather forecast for Texas:

    Wed  67 (40% chance rain)

    Fri  75

Looks pretty good to me!  I understand they've had some rain recently.  Sweet - that can mean newly exposed fossils!
